In some cases, depending on the area of the face to be treated, a dental anaesthetic or numbing cream may be used to make the procedure more comfortable. Some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling or sensitivity in the days following the treatment.

How long do the effects last?

The results of a dermal filler treatment are nearly always immediately noticeable after your treatment. The visible effects typically last around 9 months for lips and from 9 – 12 months for other fillers, depending on the area treated and the individual nature of your skin and lips.
